In this quilt-along, Sew Creative Lounge Instructor Candace Phelps will guide you step by step through the process of making a personalized t-shirt quilt featuring 9 or 12 shirts. Whether you want to preserve travel memories, showcase sports teams, or highlight special events, this project is perfect for celebrating your story through fabric.

You’ll learn essential quilting techniques, including:

• Stabilizing knit fabrics to prepare your shirts for quilting

• Cutting and squaring t-shirt blocks for a polished look

• Sashing and layout design to highlight each shirt

• Adding borders for a professional finish

• Basting, quilting, and binding to complete your one-of-a-kind quilt

By the end of the class, you’ll have a finished quilt that’s as meaningful as it is beautiful — the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one.
