Fulfillment & Inventory Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our team. As a Fulfillment & Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for adding inventory to our inventory tracking system, reconciling inventory, tracking items with low inventory, locating merchandise and packing orders for shipment. You will also be responsible for cutting fabric and creating sewing kits for our retail store.

 

To ensure success as a Fulfillment & Inventory Specialist, you should have a good understanding of fulfilling orders, have a good eye for detail and the ability to climb stairs and lift heavy objects.  Ultimately, a top-class Fulfillment & Inventory Specialist processes orders quickly and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Fulfillment & Inventory Responsibilities:

  • Offloading merchandise and transporting merchandise into the studio.
  • Arranging incoming deliveries in designated retail space and storage areas.
  • Locating and extracting merchandise from shelves. 
  • Confirming merchandise information matches that of the order.
  • Inspecting the merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities.
  • Packing the merchandise for shipment.
  • Transporting the packed items to UPS and USPS.
  • Finalizing the order and updating the database.
  • Adhering to state health and safety practices.

Fulfillment & Inventory Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of sewing, fabric and fulfillment is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret written orders.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Ability to stand or walk for up to six hours a day.
  • Fully Vaccinated
  • 25 hours per week Tuesday - Saturdays from 9am-2:30pm
  • Rate $14-$16 per hour

Sewing Instructor

We are looking for a passionate sewing instructor to join our team. As a Sewing Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching group sewing lessons and private lessons to children and adults.  

To ensure success as a Sewing Instructor, you should have at least two years experience as a sewing instructor, be patient and live up to our motto of "no sewer left behind." Ultimately, the sewing instructor is patient, has the ability to explain sewing instructions in an easy way and has excellent time management. 

Sewing Instructor Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive and optimistic attitude
  • Provide instruction and demonstration of basic stitching, machine use, and machine maintenance
  • Provide instruction on how to create various sewing projects 

Sewing Instructor Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • A good command of sewing
  • Fully vaccinated
  • 2 years experience as a sewing instructor
  • Pattern-making experience is a plus
  • Afternoon/evening weekday and weekend classes (approximately 8 hours per week)
