Named in honor of Gertrude Hadley Jeannette, a pioneering Black actress, playwright, director, and cultural trailblazer, this top celebrates a woman who lived boldly and created space for others to do the same. Gertrude Hadley Jeannette broke barriers throughout her remarkable life—from becoming one of the first women licensed to drive a taxi in New York City to building a lasting legacy in Black theater. Like its namesake, the Jeannette Top is bold, expressive, versatile, and made to stand out.
