The Marriott Hotel and Convention Center recently played host to the Sew Creative Lounge Sewing Retreat 2024, a gathering that brought together sewing enthusiasts from far and wide. With a unique blend of creativity, connection, and skill-building, this retreat was a memorable celebration of the art of sewing.

The festivities kicked off with an exclusive private dinner at Copper Canyon Grill. The room buzzed with excitement as attendees indulged in a feast for the senses, filled with not just delicious food but also the warmth of connection and laughter. It set the perfect tone for what was to come.

As the sewing festivities commenced, attendees adorned themselves in Sew Creative swag, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie. Under the guidance of skilled instructors Paulette Grant and Rhonda Allen. The harmonious hum of sewing machines brought to life an eclectic mix of projects, including knot bags, jelly roll rugs, and quilt patterns, ranging from stylish apparel and accessories.

Paulette Grant and Rhonda Allen, the talented instructors, played a pivotal role in shaping the retreat into an educational and enriching experience. Grant's proficiency in stitching techniques and Allen's innovative approach to upcycling opened new horizons for attendees, allowing them to put their newly acquired skills to the test. Together, these instructors infused the retreat with knowledge and inspiration, elevating it beyond a simple gathering to a transformative celebration of creativity and skill.


A highlight of the retreat was the captivating fashion show where attendees proudly showcased their meticulously crafted projects.
